Angels - Created beings of God almighty for his sole will.

Angels, celestial beings of immense power and beauty, were created by God with a singular purpose - to serve Him and carry out His divine will. These ethereal beings, whose existence transcends our mortal realm, form an innumerable host, each possessing a unique name, rank, and specific service to fulfill in the presence of God.

Throughout history, angels have been depicted in various forms, from winged cherubs to majestic beings radiating divine light. However, it is essential to understand that their true essence lies not in their appearance but in their role as devoted servants of God.

The Hierarchy of Angels

Further down the celestial hierarchy are the Dominions, Virtues, and Powers. The Dominions guide and govern the lower angelic orders, ensuring the implementation of God's will. The Virtues are responsible for the miracles and wonders that occur in the world, serving as conduits for God's divine power. The Powers, on the other hand, act as warriors and defenders against evil forces, protecting humanity from spiritual harm.

Lastly, the lowest orders of angels include the Principalities, Archangels, and Angels. The Principalities oversee nations and regions, guiding and inspiring leaders towards righteousness. Archangels, such as Gabriel and Michael, are messengers of God, delivering important revelations and carrying out significant tasks. Finally, the Angels, the closest to humanity, are assigned to protect and guide individuals on their earthly journeys.

The Divine Service of Angels

Each angel, regardless of their rank, possesses a specific service to fulfill in the presence of God. Their duties range from offering worship and praise, delivering messages, guarding and protecting, guiding and inspiring, and even engaging in spiritual battles against evil forces.

It is important to note that while angels are powerful and awe-inspiring, they are not to be worshipped or revered in the same way as God. Their purpose is to direct all glory and honor towards the Almighty, acting as intermediaries between the divine and the mortal.
