CHRISTmas holds a special place in the hearts of many, including myself. It is a time when we come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus, our King and Son of David. For me, CHRISTmas is more than just a holiday - it is a time of worship and reflection.

Jesus is everything to me. He is not only our Savior but also our mediator between men and God. His birth represents hope, love, and the fulfillment of God's promises. As I gather with loved ones during this festive season, I am reminded of the incredible gift we have been given in Jesus.

Reflecting on past Christmases, one particular memory stands out. It was a year when our family was facing financial hardship, and we could only afford one present each. The gifts were wrapped in humble brown paper bags from the grocery store. Despite the lack of material abundance, the joy and excitement in our hearts were immeasurable.

I still remember the gift I received that year - a racing arcade hand-held game. It may not have been extravagant, but it was a token of love and thoughtfulness. That CHRISTmas, we were also blessed with the presence of Aunt Debbie, who brought warmth and cheer to our humble celebration.

Times were tough, but we persevered through them all because of our faith in Christ Jesus. He was our anchor, guiding us through the storms of life. Christmas serves as a reminder that our faith is not dependent on material possessions or circumstances, but on the unwavering love and grace of our Savior.

As I reflect on the true meaning of CHRISTmas, I am reminded of the scriptures that serve as a roadmap for our future. They provide guidance, comfort, and assurance. The birth of Jesus was the beginning of a divine plan that continues to unfold in our lives today.

During this season, let us not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of shopping and parties. Instead, let us take the time to worship our King, to reflect on the blessings we have received, and to seek guidance from the scriptures. Let us remember that CHRISTmas is not just about the presents under the tree, but about the presence of Jesus in our lives.

May this CHRISTmas be a time of renewed faith, hope, and love. May it bring us closer to our Savior and remind us of the true reason for the season. Let us cherish the moments spent with loved ones, and let the light of Christ shine brightly in our hearts.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 2023!
